Crashing question

I run MQ2, (latest version), and then start everquest. Everything is fine and I select and server and then a character. Then it goes to the loading screen after character selection normally. This is where the trouble starts. A small screen comes up that says (EQ crash detected) and it goes no furthur. If I close the small box EQ closes as well. I can run EQ fine as long as I dont run MQ2.

I have:
1) Redownloaded and recompiled MQ2
2) Reinstalled EQ and Redownloaded all patches

Still same issue.......any ideas?

Are you using any extra plugins that do not come with the MQ2 zip file?
Were there any errors during compile?

Try loading EQ all the way into your character then go into window mode and start mq2 does that crash you?

With the info you have given sounds likes everything should run fine.

To answer the questions:

Not using any extra plugins
No errors during either compile

I will try the windowed mode and if it doesnt work I will give you the resulting error messages if any.

ok i finaly found this post.
yes i am a newb yes bring on the flame if it will also bring on the help

ok here is what i have done

restored pc due to virus
cleaned registry and soved issues there wow did not realise how slow pc was actualy running.
deleted all isuences of mq2 qnd eq
reinstalled eq updated all patches runs fine
downloaded mq2 file
added in specific macros will provide list at bottom
compiled no errors
loaded mq2
loaded eq
can make it to charecter select screen after clicking on charecter i get message mq2 is blocking crash info.
searched mq2 for possible issues from previous posters
found this post attempted to load mq2 from windows mode
eq fails to go into windows mode from options screen "run fullscreen icon
alt tabbed out to start mq2
eq crashes with same message
recompiled mq2 still no errors did not add in extra macros
same issues all around
loaded eq no mq2 still same issue with windows mode
reinstalling eq now will post with update as soon as finished

***** what am i doing wrong and what advice can i be given with and with out the flames lol******
