ending a twist

Post by Greyhare » Sun Oct 27, 2002 11:13 pm

I am trying to add a /end command to the twisting macro for when my health gets down below 50 but everything I try either doesnt work right or breaks the macro. Can anyone help me get this added, dieing while the macro was running already cost me 2 sets of armor.

Doesn't "/stopsong" end any bard song that is being played? maybe that will work of you stick in the right place. If you use "/end" won't MQ assume that you mean "/endmacro"?

Ending the macro is exactly what I want. If you die with the macro running you end up crashing and losing items.

Is that all there is to the line Gengis? I got the first part but I cant get it to run. It is the last part that I am having trouble nailing down. Once I have that set I assume it must call to a substring, but I cant get it to run a /end in the substring, I am missing it somewhere.

/if $char(hp,pct)<=50 /end

*should* work. Just make sure you put in inside the loop.

Thanks Gengis, my mistake was wanting to make it much more complicated than it needed to be. Trying to add a Subscript when it wasnt needed. I will give this a test and see if it works.
