Macros on the fly...

Post by relicOne » Mon Oct 28, 2002 12:38 pm

I haven't been home to officially install MQ, but I was wondering if I'm able to make a change to a macro and load it while still in eq? I have a small network here and it would help tons if I could edit the macro on another workstation, then test, then edit as necessary, without having to log off EQ. Any help is appreciated.

It is easy to do that way if you use EQ windows on the same comp, but you can also edit the macro from another terminal on the network. Just reload the macro after you have made changes to see the effect.

/mana is simply an alias, and can therefore be removed or modified by using the /alias command. As for reloading the .ini file? I don't believe so, but I could be wrong.
