I downloaded the Perl file from the link but when I double clicked to install it I get a windows error: Not a Valid Win32 Program blah blah blah. I also made sure the PC had the windows installer on it which should be able to open that type of file? Did I have a bad download?

Be sure you have the latest
windows installer fro your windows version. The install from that should give you a right click option for installing msi files, double click too.

/doability kick crashes me to desktop everytime. Would this be an offset issue or would this be a bug?
Thanks!

I am having the same issue with the /doability [ability] command. It crashes the EQ client without fail.
/doability [#] does work fine as already reported.

Before I try to reproduce this, are you using /DoAbility on the new or old ui (in VI terms the UI or old UI ).

Ok, I am just getting started with MQ and I have tried to help myself as much as possible, but when I load eq it crashes me as soon as i try to connect to a server.
I am using XP pro and EQW 2.3
I have MQ 905 and IRC-20021024
I have used the new offsets found in this thread and it still crashes me.
Can anyone please offer some suggestions?
Thanks for the help

EqAddict,
I always run marcoquest using the old UI. /doability was working fine when we were using the 0905 release (before the PoP patching began and they broke MQ). It was after that release that the command stopped working when you use the ability name (i.e. kick). I have not tried using the ability number yet, but it sounds like that is working fine.

"/doability forage" crashes client to desktop for me as well every time and
"/doability 2" does not.
I am using the oldui and I tried it both with eqw and without with the same results.
I am using IRC-20021024 with the new posted offsets.

This is what I have been able to figure out. The offsets are not at fault, it is the newer MQ code base that crashes. If you require the /doability NAME functionality then pls load up 1016 version as it works just fine.
I am an offset guy and not a MQ coder so I will have to bow out of trying to resolve this.

P.S. 1016 fixes some /click bugs I was having with skill macros as well.

using "H" or hail crashes me as well. Also where are you guys getting the IRC releases from? Only release I have is the one available on the downloads page and the version numbers you guys are referring to are different from mine.
