Hey-
Basically i am looking to make a few extra platz, in tight plat situations. Ive heard from a close friend that with this program you can buy for less and sell for more to a merchant, is this true? I have the program loaded and everything, im just not quite sure how to use the commands, and which ones to even use. If you guys can help me with this, ill be more than greatful

Thanks
-Draz

Read the Readme.txt file.
Or
read the Readme.html file.

When you read the file a glorious thing will happen.
You will LEARN.
Learning adds wrinkles on your brain each time you learn something, your brain gets a new wrinkle.

And you know what? Wrinkles are IN. Wrinkles are stylin'
The more Wrinkles the better.

So go read the file. Read the contents inside out, upside down, backwards, outside in, and when your done. Read the Boards posts.
read all of them. Read them all the same way.

Then go away to your private spot in the house where your reading this, and write your own macros.

peace.
My perception is my reality.

There is also something called the Search Button

Post by Repard » Fri Oct 25, 2002 11:08 pm

This will be one of your closest friends in the coming months. Yes I said months. You aren't going to get immediate satisfaction here. You will need to earn your wrinkles like Java said. Click on the search button till your finger gets bloody and then click on it some more. Read till you're eyes are bloodshot. These things will get you farther than just asking "I want to make a ton of plat too. I want it now and I don't want to have to do anything for it." I go to bed each night with my brain worn out from reading posts on these boards and picking apart previously posted code.
Just Start clickin the Search button but don't forget to actually enter something in that you want to search for. :D

Draz don't take offense please. First post was an explaination, how to ne clued in, my "Smoothy" post was a flame.

/em retracts the smoothy comment.
/em Casts memory blur on Draz.

There, all fixed.

Actually Rizwank i posted the smoothy comment by habit? by frustration?
by reading so many *clueless* posts? that after awhile i get to think :

*Hey if i have to read the Readme.html Rizwank made, then why doesn't everybody else?*

Seen a post of yours all excited somebody read the file you put together.
Maybe that explains why i posted the Smoothy, but the rest wasn't only for Draz it was for all the noobs coming here looking for fame, and fortune, and never even thought about RTFM.

glad to see

Post by manburn55 » Tue Oct 29, 2002 11:40 am

Without sounding too "chick-flick," Im glad that, as a community, the response to this thread wasnt NUKE and BURN.

I posted something vaguely similar (though not as blatant a request, just an interest in maybe possibly working on pp macros myself) and got blasted back to next year.

As a group we should know that these inquiries will come and post something in a more prominent place. I. YES I know that there will always be people that post such things, but a lot of us wouldnt even broach the subject if we had known.

At this point someone will say, "well if you browse the forums for longer than a week you will know that." Point A - I lurked for a month in fact and saw nothing; Point B - most people are so excited about the existence of such a program/function that they wont browse - but would prolly heed a message if they were only told. Every person should be taken as a separate case - not all of us would spam tradeskills in front of a GM.

I guess this is just a thank you for being civil.
Dontcha think if VI hadnt taken the JOY out of leveling...there wouldnt be a NEED to use macros?
