CPU utilisation

Post by Wally » Fri Jun 28, 2002 9:01 am

from the moment I start macroquest, CPU utilisation goes up to 100%
is that just me, or does anybody else have this problem also??

Yes, MQ is a processor hog :)

**Correction**
The effect MQ has on EQ causes it to be a CPU hog...MQ in and of itself isn't very processor intensive

yet it starts eating CPU from the moment I start it, not when I start EQ.

that's the part which confuses me.

Its noticably more jerky when running MQ in the background on my P3-866/512mb ram. However since I mostly only use it to check what mobs are up it doesnt really bother me that much. I dont play with it on raids.
