What do you mean same effect? Like edit your base mana regen to +16 points like KEI does?.. I dont think that would be classified as a macro :P
More of aaaa... Mana regen hack if there is such a thing

That would be something...hard..and VERY bannable..but how would they find out?

And if you could (don't think you can) edit mana regen, why not edit stats, hp ect ect ect....

So no I don't think it is possible

From www.dictionary.com:

mac·ro Pronunciation Key (mkr)

n. Computer Science pl. mac·ros
A single, user-defined command that is part of an application and executes a series of commands.
A shorthand representation for a number of lines of code.
Not to flame (ok, so I am) but Macroquest allows us to create and implement Macros. If you can do it in game then you can automate that process. Can you increase your mana regeneration in game by clicking a button? And I'm not talking about 'well if someone casts x on me...' - I'm talking about some action that you repetively perform that automating would allow. If the answer is no then a macro can not be made for it.

What you are talking about is hexediting. Go to HQ if that's what you're looking for - it's not allowed here.

That's an exploit, not a macro. Big diff.

Most of that stuff is kept serverside anyway.

When doing an online RPG like EQ, there's a fundamental question of what info to keep serverside and what to keep clientside.

Serverside, benefits are mostly security and locality (all your data in the same place).

Clientside, benefit: speed, speed, speed. Drawback: easy to hack.

So most of the really "important" stuff is ultimately serverside, and the rest is clientside. Anything clientside is probably hackable (whether you'll get caught is a different question...) Very little serverside is hackable.

Anyway, none of this has anything to do with MQ.

It's already been done. There are other boards out there that have info on this sort of stuff but good luck in getting them to tell you what that info is. So many have been banned cause of it that they keep it in their little group now. There are many such hacks. GL in findin them though. You'll probably search till your eyes bleed and still not find them cause most of the boards that they were posted on have gone down and recreated somewhere else.
