The day I donated, I received not only confirmation from paypal in my email, but also within an hour, a personal thank you from Lax. Groo, it's safe to assume you didn't receive a thank you from Lax, but did you receive that email from paypal? If not, then the problem is not on any of the dev's shoulders, its on yours.

If you got that paypal confirmation and still were not given vip access here, why do you presume that this was intentional? Maybe you didn't include your board name in the paypal form, so they didn't know who to give access to (I'm not saying that happened, just that its a possibility). Sure, after the rants you've posted about this, you can't expect to be given any consideration (VIP members are not protected against being flaming assholes), but prior to those - a few unanswered PMs? Ever stop to consider that people don't always read their PMs in a timely manner? There could be a hundred reasons you didn't receive VIP access, all of them innocent. The only thing that you would need to get that fixed is patience and resolve (rather than a pissy attitude).

The real bottom line here though - if you donated so that you could get VIP access, you've missed the point. Don't donate to get VIP access, donate to show your appreciation for the hard work the dev team does for YOU. Since VIP access is the status quo /nod the devs give you for donating, if you don't receive it, inquire about it patiently until you get an answer.
