There will be no offsets to Macroquest released today. Changes have been made to eqgame.exe to prevent usage of MacroQuest.

Well I'll be damned. Does that mean Macroquest is gone for good then?

I doubt it, but it does sound like Plaz has a lot of work to do.

How do you know the changes were specific to stop MQ?

Even when the correct offsets were put in, MQ couldnt operate.

I didn't/don't  and it looks like the problem has already been taken care of, so it's just a matter of waiting for the new release and offsets :)

Changed

They changed how EQ works a little. I had a litttle problem with the hex offsets because they changed some stuff around.

The offsets were fine and they didn't change something to purposely break MQ. They added a parameter to a function that MQ would break if was changed. There's no way to predict or prevent this, just deal with it when it happens (and it shouldn't be often)

It is said that the physical addiction to Macroquest can be broken in a mere 2 days. But the emotional and psychological damage may last for years :!:

Thanks Plaz for inserting the 'subliminal code' to keep us all hooked on this silly game. Must kill one more orc pawn... must!
