Help please! MQ2 says wrong version!!!

*Brings up his flame shield*
Hahahahaha just kidding, im not that much of a n00b.

But anyway, getting to the point, this is my first post in the forums, but i have been using MQ2 for about 3 weeks now since my friend showed me it. I think this is one of the most revolutionary things to happen to EQ. The community effort on this project is so tight, one day there was an update and i checked the website 10 mins later and a new MQ2 had already been released, it kinda freaked me out for a minute. But for real, i really love this program and i just wanted to let all of you who have helped to make it what is know that you are doing a great job on an awesome program, and i will be donating once i get back to college this fall (mwahaha scholarship money!) I am a CIS major at the University of Arkansas, and i plan to contribute my ideas/macros/plugins/whatever help i can give to this project. All i gotta say now is, Keep up the good work all.

Take care,
Jankos

RTFM. RTFForums.

When you get flamed (and you will) it's not because you're stupid, or don't know dick about computers. I'm sure you do. You will be flamed because you didn't do your homework. There's a button, called 'Search',
which would have prevented you and the other thousands of people from asking this question OVER AND OVER AND OVER until regular readers have no choice but to flame out of their sheer hatred for people who expect someone else to do their thinking for them.

ALWAYS search before posting if you don't want to get flamed.

Now, let the flaming begin.

I'm a big-enough person to admit when I'm wrong. Yah, I read the subject, but not enough of the content. It's fucking sad that it's gotten to that.

My RL job is to babysit fools all week and it makes me REAL intolerant about people who are too lazy to spend 5 fucking minutes searching for an answer and failing that are too fucking dumb not to just stay quiet until they figure out what's going on. Since I don't have time to help out on Genbot anymore I figured I'd try to contribute by fielding stupid questions with righteous anger. Guess I don't have enough time to do that right either.

dont worry about it man, you're doing a good job here. We all make mistakes...and my post was sorta misleading in the first place....just to be kinda like a joke because i see alot people getting flamed for asking questions like that (and rightfully so) All some people are worried about is when the next update is coming out instead of doing the research and patching it themselves, or helping out someone with macro's or plugins or whatnot.....just keep doing what you're doing man.....you're doing a fine job.

Wow took me a while to stop laughing there =D.

Ironic that you were preaching about reading before posting.

No worries, it happens to the best of us :).
