Lol. He must've used about 15 hours to find out how to use the macro thing, but didn't figure it out. I'd be pretty frustrated after 15 hours of "RTFM" and searching on the forum here and still not get/understand anything.

Still. I don't like flamers.

Besides I don't believe I found any actual sticky or any post with the topic regarding how to actually run a macro, like a "How to run the macro" topic. A lot on how to compile and create/use plugins, though. But creating plugins is not the point of entry to new users. Compiling and running would be. I used a little time before I found out how to use the macro. I couldn't comprehend exactly how it worked. A "MQ2 running, EQ up, macros downloaded. Now what?" feeling.
I had to use the readme.chm and look through there.

If I am wrong and there is such a nice little topic named "How to run a macro" please error me and throw in the link , because I didn't find it the first time and didn't find it on a second glance in Announcements.

Ok I will only post to help you wolf5.. The part I colored red is directly awnsered..

Take another look at the Readme.chm Under Macro Fundamentals/Macroquest commands you will find the command /macro.

The information for this is
/macro filename [Param0 [Param1]]
Starts running a macro. Calling a macro from another macro will end the calling macro.

/macro mymacro

Now if he wasn't willing to work on figuring that out and picks instead to talk trash about those that could figure it out there is no reason to help him. You state you had trouble finding the information but obviously since you didn't post asking how you did find it with a willingness to learn and figure it out rather than be spoon feed. So since you tried I was willing to give you the awnser you asked for.

readme.chm = TFM that's referenced when we scream RTFM.

Hate me if you like, but I flame here as a venting outlet because I can't flame people who don't read on the forums I moderate for a different project.

Stupid people piss me off. If you can't be bothered to read the manual and at least look through the last 10 posts in the forum marked HELP, you deserve to be called a fucking moron when the answer to your question is in the manual or has already been answered recently.

I am more than willing to help people who at least take the ten minutes needed to search for what they're asking. Oversights happen. I've missed things myself, but I at least look before I ask. I don't mind taking a little flak because I didn't have my Wheaties that morning. :)
