MQ2 & VS6/VC6 - Visual Studio 6.0 VC 6

Post by Slixin Klex » Fri Jun 25, 2004 3:13 am

I have visual studio 6 and am deployed in afghanistan so its kinda hard to get a copy of vs.net any time in the next 3 months. is there any tips on how to setup this program in vs 6? I did the steps that were listed in the dummys setup stuff, a few were different, but i think its messed up because all i get is Unknown Label 9999 on every single thing thats in my UI i downloaded... i think its the SOE wanabe one with all those cool plugins in the UI. Well i know one thing is for sure, i couldnt run the sln file, it said was not a valid file or some shit like that. I read the forums and updated to service pack 6 and it still says it. It will let me open up the other one, but thats not the one that i need i dont think.... plz someone help me, my current wishes are to be running a buff bot (/tell system based), if you could help me get to that stage i would appreciate it.

All you need to do is read the Announcements Thread

But i will paste the info here for you

Visual Studio 6 - Load the workspace.(.DSW) Set MQ2Main as active project. Hit Build MQ2Main.dll (F7). Now do Batch Build (under Build menu). Make sure everything in the batch build window that says "release" has a check by it. Click Build in the window. All should compile with no errors or warnings.
It does work if you follow it, i started by doing exactly that with VS6.
