Ping Pong

Post by doanchano » Tue Jun 08, 2004 3:31 am

I would like a few suggestions on a macro i am thinking of creating.

lets call it Ping Pong.

My idea is that when 2 classes of the same level with pets each get the same amount of aggro from a mob when one of them sits it goes for him.
So he stands up the other one sits the mob goes for the other player. keep doin this and the mob runs back and forth between the 2 gettin beat on by the pets till it be dead.

Of course 2 players would both have to be running MQ2 for this 2 work.

I am wondering if anyone could suggest a way to have the other know when to sit?

I was thinking of using a simple group sit which the other macro would identify and immeadiately put the character on its duff till the mob was gettin to close and was time to stand.

If mobs dont summon and u get equal aggro i dont care how many levels higher than you that mob is it is goin down.

Anyway the delay in having the sit sent recieved and interpeted might not be short enuf to keep the mob off a person.

Any suggestions on other methods of making this happen?

Last time I tried doing this ingame, after it ping-ponged a few times the mob would warp directly to one of the PC's and start mauling it.
Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, but most of them stink.
