if you don't have mq2chatwnd plugin running and you do something like /echo or /who it does not show up in EQ's default chat window.

.... im trying really, really hard not to flame you or tell you you just forfeited free support. There's this vein my forehead that's popping out really far right now.

The download link has really big letters next to it with a link... open that link, and scroll down to where it says something about chat... stare at it for about 5 minutes... then come back to this thread and say you figured it out

there is mq2chatwnd, which is gay, and there is mq2chat, which is good. type /plug mq2chat and you will be fine.

Xfactor, Im going to spell this out for you since you appear to be in first grade.

You DO NOT need to be using Macroquest becuase you are the kind of dumbfuck n00b motherfucker that would actually write a macro (providing you could figure out how) that would check for the spawn of a gm, then send a tell to them on a common event trigger (#event fuckmyself "say") telling them something obscene. Delete your Macroquest folder, delete your account from these boards because your going to get cought and banned which probably wouldnt be a bad thing except you would come back here whining and complaining. On an additional thought, just delete your everquest directory also as dumbfucks like you are half of what is ruining this game.

I forgot to add the mq2chat back in. My problem was i have not updated the macroquest.ini in so long i forgot about the chat stuff. and today i had to update it because of the new caption stuff. Thanks for the help even tho i missed something totally stupid.

Geez.. I read the manuals so many times until I got everything down right, it took me a good time to figure everything the devs were talking about so that I could keep up with them, I RTFM, also changes.txt, VC++ Docs, etc... EVERYONE has done it...

why the fuck you think you are the exception?????
