/declare already in use?

Post by bohicaseti » Thu Apr 29, 2004 12:05 pm

Hmm my macro's seem to be a bit broken since this latest zip. The big problem I'm comming across is when I try to start a macro again after I have ended it I get a "/declare 'CheckLoot' failed. Name already in use." message. I get a message like that for any /declares that I had listed in my macro. I'm not sure if I'm having a HUGE brainfart right now on something simple or not. 2 days ago, my mac's worked okay but now I have Lax Flaming me in game 5x a second  (Nice wake up call Lax). Flame me at will if this is something stupid I'm overlooking, Lax has made me numb to it at this point :P .

This is one of the changes with the new datavar system. anything defined as "global" lasts forever. Change all those 'global' to 'outer' and your problems should go away.

Good to know. My melee script would have been truly hosed. Thanks for the tip.
