Passing a Global name in a Param

Post by LordGiddion » Tue Apr 20, 2004 11:17 pm

ok this is gonna sound weird but works for the logic I'm writing, is there a way to pass the name of a global to a Param and then eval the value of the Global?

Basically

Code: Select all

/call ReportVar Somevar

sub ReportVar
    /tell master @@Param0
/return
And a set function like:

Code: Select all

/call SetVar Somevar, 12

Sub SetVar
    /varset @Param0 @param1
/return

Aliasing or whatever you'd like to call it worked before. Not sure if Lax is going to allow that now or not.
