Itemnotify

I know I saw a post about someone else having this same problem but I can't find the post now..Sorry.

I have the 4-15-04 15:50 version of MQ compiled (with VS6) and running.

I use a custom UI and am trying to use /itemnotify to right click my left finger.

The command I am typing is /itemnotify leftfinger rightmouseup I get no responce of any type. Have tried switching the finger and still no responce. I have had the inventory window open and closed both trying it out.

I changed back to the default UI and retried both fingers and still get no responce.

/itemnotify doesnt care what ui you're using (i think 99% of people use custom ui), it doesnt use any window names or anything. it also doesnt use anything special that would cause it to not work between VC6 and VC7, so I'm pretty stumped. Works fine for me

I never got /itemnotify to work either. I tried debuging it. It went into ItemNotify ok. It called pWnd->HandleLButtonDown/Up, but nothing happened. My initial guess was that rect.CenterPoint() did not give correct information. I was in the process of trying to verify this but then I saw MQ2ExchangeItem (on a forum not to be mentioned). This did what I wanted to do, so I stopped trying to debug it.

Just my ramblings...

From what I hear for VC6 you need to install Service Pack 5. Then /itemnotify and /notify will work perfectly. Issue closed.
