Possible Macro Convention

I know this is a pain to ask but I would love to see a convention for those of us who do NOT use up/down/left/right in out setups... could we define a set of variable for any script with movement such as

/varset up NUM_8
/varset down NUM_2
...

So that in each script can be editited more easily for those with non standard keyboard layouts. Would be a matter of adding 4 variables, and using @up instead of up or @down instead of down in your scripts. I think this would save the community a lot of work, ok it owuld save me a lot of work

/KEYPRESS ?

eg.,

Code: Select all

/Keypress FORWARD HOLD

to hold the key down, or

Code: Select all

/Keypress FORWARD

to release.

Forward is an EQ bind...you can set it to whatever...

Sendkey on the otherhand...

works just fine as:

Code: Select all

/sendkey down num_8

So, I don't really understand your problem or your not doing something correctly.
