Quick question

Post by Chord » Fri Mar 26, 2004 10:14 am

Hi All,

I haven't used MQ since back in the day, when you could download the compiled version, etc. All I really used it for was the ability to find named spawns from anywhere in the zone. /face once in a while etc. No real macroing.

So my question is, is this ability still in MQ?
Are there other add-ons which give this ability other than MQ?

Thanks

I am a newb myself, so I won't flame at all. Anyhow, MQ2 is capable of all this, and much much more. Read around a bit, get a program to compile it with, get the download RTFM and play with it a bit.
Thanks to Lax, Plasmic, and the other Devs who bust their ass on this project MQ2 is a force to be reckoned with. But a warning for you, this is something they are not paid to do, so don't think of them as customer service, or you will get flamed.

Finding a named in zone..... Programs like ShowEQ, EQLM, and MyShowEQ can do that. Maybe more but those are the ones that come to mind.

/Face? Nope. No other program that I know of will allow you to use the /face command or anything close to that funtionality. It might be possable to write a plugin to Xylobot, but it would be way too much trouble....

ShowEQ I have used, but it required a UNIX computer. MQ was better for that reason. Never heard of the other 2, can they run on the same comp, like MQ can?

I believe MySeq is a windows app. I know that I limit myself by just using MQ2, but it's an all-in-one tool for everything I need. I highly recommend getting your hands on Visual studio and compiling it. It is that good.
