I am completely programming illiterate...but I can read directions very well so I've been able to compile it well enough by those.

We just need to patiently wait for them to fix this problem. If you cannot play EQ without the aid of MQ2....then play something else until they get to it heh.

Just my advice.

I'm playing WC3 until this error or whatever it is is resolved.

Well if i did something wrong, please tell me so i can correct it. People were having problems compiling the new release because of some missing defines in one of the header files. I posted the missing defines on the message boards to help them. It was summarily deleted. Maybe i should not have gotten sarcastic but if you look at how some of the deveolpers talk to posters i dont see a problem with it.

Basically i worded it like this

In the eqgame.h file add the following lines
#define <blah blah>
It compiles and runs in eq.

I got a little pissed because i do not see a problem posting a minor fix in the help section.
