MQ2 not working (i don't think its a RTFM question)

Post by marco » Thu Mar 11, 2004 11:45 am

Hi All,

First great thanks to all working on this proggy!

Then,.. I got the latest zip file from the downloadpage, changed the offsets file, added the new structs, changed the other 2 structs, eddited the 'C' Map thingies. Recompiled the bunch in VB6.0.
All as was finely explaned to the forum,.. yet,...

I just tried MQ,.. not worky. I don' tget a message if incorrect client version or anything,.. when i'm ingame it said MQ2 loaded, so all seems fine. Yet when I do /macro fish2 (it's a brells fishing macro that worked fine bevore the patch), then i don't start to fish :-(

Would any be able to tell me how to submit better info on this problem? or does anybody knows what i'm missing? It is the first time I updated MQ2 after a patch so I could easely still be doing something wrong.

Ofcourse i could just wait till the download zip has been updated,.. so that i'm sure i didn't break anything when i made the requirered changes. But I thought i'd give this a try first

Thanks in advance
Marco

[edit] added that after all the changes i also recompiled :-)

what i did was i went through cvs and downloaded all the stuff from the last 6 days or newer

then i did the suggested modifications to the struct / ini / etc

and i updated my macros to use keypressing instead of /press /sendkey etc

and everything works like before now
:D
