Praise area for our hard working Devs

Post by Zoomy » Thu Mar 11, 2004 8:59 pm

Hail all MQ2 followers :P

This is my first post ...
Just wanted to say "The Dev's rock!"

MQ2 is back up and running for me thanks to your hard work on offsets and structs.

You guys rock! .. Very fast and efficient especially for people who aren't geting paid for this.

Well when you have a love for something guess thats payment enough :P

Thanks again guys, maybe some of you could reply to this post on what some of the tools you are using for debug etc, i might be able to lend a hand on patch days.

Would love to help if i can.

Very nicely done all! Thank you for all your hard work.
Such fast updates! Imagine where we'd be if microsloth was this supportive.

Just wanted to say thanks to the dev team for all the effort that's gone into MQ2. I appreciate the product, the manual and the ton of posts that show me how to get it all done.

About a month ago I stumbled across macroquest when googling 'eq ui mod'. What it's allowed me to do really makes my gameplay more enjoyable (and that's what counts, right?). I've been able to get rid of a bunch of different timers and automate quite a few different crap tasks that used to drive me crazy. I'm still getting the hang of it, but I'm learning a little bit more every day just lurking on the boards.

I'm gonna shut up before I get all teary eyed. Just know the work is appreciated.

I would like to say thanks to the Devs of MQ2, you have made EQ a better experience. Soon as the dust blows over with my wife I will see about donating some funds to compensate you for the benefits I have received as a result of your efforts. (She’s still angry with me for donating $100.00 to EQTraders hehe)

gotta admit I so rely on MQ to just take over the druge work of EQ. Even without the 'cheater' map going on or the uber target and /face, the ability to automate the thousands of mindless keypresses it takes to play my chosen class in EQ makes me dependant on MQ to the point where I dread patch days for the new eqgame.

MQ for me is about allowing me to play EQ and focus on the game parts, not the mindless button mashing.

From the bottom of my heart, seriously, thank you devs for creating such a fantastic tool and keeping it going for so long.

Great thread crew.

I also wish to express my appreciation for the devs as a whole.

In particular Ive noted that Lax is moving at great speed through some really nice code revision and implimentation.

If this was a commercial project, you'd be lynched for going to fast :-)

Truly,

I love your work devs

/agree

I won't even play EQ, after a patch until I can get mq2 up and running again. Thanks devs!
