Hiya.. I can't seem to find an answer from searching, is there some way to use /click to complete a trade with a PC? Or is there a way to tell if a PC trade window is up?

Code: Select all

/click left button npctrade_give
Try that, not at machine to test, just did a search for "trade"

Is it the same spot every time?
Are you using the default UI or a custom one?
Have you checked the locations.txt file?

Yes its the same spot every time (left-middle). I am using the default UI. It is not attempting to click a button, just a specific location, which does not serve my purposes because when you put that into a loop it causes trouble, someone may walk in front of you and it starts trying to click them, etc.

I've had a look at the locations.txt file and I'm not sure how that helps me (but I am a newbie). If there was some way for MQ to tell if the pc trade window or the character inventory window was open, then that would solve my problem (the inventory window also opens whenever a trade window opens, so either would do). IE if I could do something similar to /if $tradewindow=OPEN .. or /if $inventorywindow=OPEN ... then /click loc x,y (trade).

Yes that's right. Now move the TRADE button under the mouse button and it will click it.

I think the code I posted is from GENBOT and it was just a way for the coders to show what it was doing, all it is really doing is /click left button.

There does not seem to be a way as of yet to know the TRADE or BEGIN (in bazaar). Seems everything else like BUY and SELL are known.

All I can suggest doing is reviewing the info that MQSEQ posted about finding offsets and try to find the offset for TRADE. Then post it and see if the developes can incorporate it.

Hmm its really too bad MQ2 cant tell if that trade window is open... There must be a way... It occurs to me that an unwanted trade window openning would be fatal to 90% of macros since you cannot cast spells & do other stuff when it's open. The only way I see is /press esc built into a loop or /click loc x/y , and both these methods stink.

I'm starting to hate the trade window.

You can toggle to trade with everyone, group, or no one.

Just toggle your trade off.

there is a handy file called locations.txt :) i had them update the cvs.. next release should have a trade format... this is what i submitted

[pc_trade_yes]
UILabel=TradeWnd
XMLFile=EQUI_TradeWnd.xml
ScreenID=TRDW_Trade_Button

just a FYI... i even made my macros look for that in the locations.txt and update it :)

Back to this one again? Do I have to post this in every fucking forum?

I WILL NOT PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR AUTOMATING FUCKING KEI BOTS IN FUCKING POK. I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO POST CODE OR MACROS THAT CAN BE USED TO AUTOMATE FUCKING KEI BOTS IN FUCKING POK. IF YOU TRY IT, I'LL BAN YOUR ASS. WE GET THIS FUCKING REQUEST ONE MORE TIME AND I'LL REMOVE ANY REFERENCE TO THE PCTRADE WINDOW FROM THE FUCKING SOURCE.

Get the idea I'm pissed?
