I used to contribute complex macros as well as offsets and code snippets...then EQ pissed me off and I quit playing...just now restarted again. :)

Well i've never really contributed much, tried at the beginning but once i realized i didnt understand C++ (to help code new thingies) and realized i had no original ideas i just edited a few back in the day..im starting to think, of my 200 some odd posts..most are questions and noobie related things..kinda scary really.

Oh and i wanted to post just to see when i joined, I think its august of 2k2 or something..dont recall! I just remember valerian was shortly before me cuz i used to post a lot with val around back when he first joined the boards!

Anyway, since then i been mainly a lurker..dont play eq barely much at all..cept since GoD came out..and when im bored i try and figure out how to compile my own mq (which is easy since i done it a trillion times).. Now i just need to take the time to learn offset gathering (or whatev) and maybe be able to contribute in that fashion.

In any case, as i said, jsut writing this cuz i wanted to see my join date ;)

later!

Draekz

EDIT: Hah! 4 days after valerian joined..now val is uber on here and im still a newb..damn RL! Someday i'll be uber! somedaay!

Anyway..im lame..bye!

Just an FYI for ya -- if you click "Memberlist" up at the top, you can find your join date without having to post :)

With me, and probably many others, it was just timing our return to EQ, finding the best tools available(SEQ, MySEQ, and/or MQ2) and retraining our skillz before the GoD expansion released. What a let down it turned out to be! I'm staying for a while though, and I'm sure many others will too.

So, I agree, you probably had a large influx lately, but I'm sure it's nothing too far off from the old SEQ boards where large numbers of insurgents appeared around expansions...whether here to help, like I try to do, or those here to bother...it's just something that happens, and usually in waves.

Some of us have been here for a while but either never registered or have changed our login info. I had to abandon my old login info after a jackoff I knew posted my old name on a public forum linking it to me.

I noticed somebody bragging about how he uses MQ on necro.eqclasses forums recently. He even posted a bazaar bot macro!!! Not a smart move!!!

I am a n00b. Both to EQ and MQ2. Been playing the game only since Christmas, browsing these forums and learning new stuff.

Just wanted to make the point that all of us aint bad, and all attention is not from illiterate dumb-fucks
