rename MQ window

I know it is on the forum somewhere because I found it once before but cant find it now. How do I change the name of the MQ window? when i click on it the box only offers normal commands (window fading, lock, etc) No filter, channel, etc options. I use to put channels in the old version but now cant.

Check out the file called MQ2chtwnd.ini

In there is a WindowTitle=

Did not change the name of the window and still cant add any channels to the MQ window.

thanks Bob, I have the name changed on the window but How do i get it to allow me to filter guild and raid text into the MQ window like it use to. Try to keep everything to just 2 windows.

Never used this feature. But, glad your WindowTitle worked.

Are there any other INI settings, like for filter? what if you look at a different XML window with filter and add that to the mq2chatwnd.ini ?

Anyways, glad atleast one part works...

The MQ2ChatWnd window is not a regular window managed by the chat manager. You don't want anything going to that window that isn't sent there by MQ.

My problem is the MQ window does not appear.... Macros work, and MQ works, but no MQ window. Not quite sure what the heck I'm doing wrong. Looked around the boards but don't see anyone having the same kinds of problem.

If you do a /who does the output come to your regular chat windows? If so you have your mq2chatwnd turned off and are using mq2chat instead. If that's the case /plugin mq2chatwnd load

If your output from /who isn't going anywhere, log out of eq, shut down mq and delete the file in your release folder called mq2chatwnd.ini.

I'm getting the second occurance. /who (or any MQ normal response) is going nowhere (or straight to GM console...lol). I'll try your suggestion.
