tracking Mobs on Map

Post by jon5137 » Thu Feb 05, 2004 10:53 pm

Is there anyway to use a named mobs loc and plot him on your ingame map? Wonder cause it would be much better for tracking named in LDoN then just targeting and /face ing. Thanks.

If you knew the nameds name, you could put him up on your map.

However, in an LDoN, there is no map of the area. So it's kind of useless to have a glob sitting on your map that is the named when you have no walls to follow to get to him.

You can download in-game LDoN maps now. I do indeed know the mobs name but yet I cant figure out how to place him on the map?

Try RTFM.

Then if you still can't get it, try /mapfilter help.

Been messing with it cant seem to get it to work when I turn NPC show on it doesnt display any npcs on map. Nor does it work with any of the other functions. Tried the lline to target mode that did not work as well. Any ideas?

mapfilter settings

Post by secrettoo » Wed Feb 11, 2004 12:36 pm

Hi,

Type these commands in to setup the map to show your current target on the ingame map:

/mapfilter all show
/mapfilter npc hide
/mapfilter castradius 250

The last line just to stick a circle around you on the map, easthetics.

The options for mapfilter will remain in effect from session to session
