A) We're all psychic, so if you ask us to predict the future, we can give you a specific answer (for example, if you ask me when MQ2 will be fixed, I can tell you to the exact second)
B) Pretend you were a dev and knew something that would compromise the accounts of every MQ1 and MQ2 user, without requiring any changes to the client since 1999, without breaking any privacy (or other) laws, and that this could be automated by EQ servers to instantly ban every MQ1/MQ2 user with perfect accuracy.
C) Use your imagination. Devs have worked their ass off every patch to get the software working for thousands of others, asking for nothing at all in return (there is a donation button but I can't tell you where those donations go because I dont know

). Are they watching the community to see who has the balls to get off their lazy ass and do something useful for everyone? Are they watching to see who bitches and moans and does nothing useful? Which side is it that you want to be on, considering it might have bearing on the future? Who's to say that in light of recent events (see: team-maia.net, eqlive "cheaters" post, etc) the community wont become a little more restricted as far as newcomers go?
