/camp desktop isnt either, anything that can be interpreted by EQ can be entered in a macroquest macro.

I"m a noob to MQ, so let the flaming begin, but i can't seem to get this macro working with MQ2.
I start it and it just sits there doing nothing. I know it runs because i can do /endmacro and it says it ends. I don't see any error output.
any clues would be great.
BTW I do have Fisherman's Companion in my inventory.

Do you have fishing as an ability? If you made it a hotkey then changed the ability button to something else it won't work. Fishing must be on an ability button.

the correct offset for skills, all mine showed up as zero, so I edited out the skill check and it works fine (of course, it'll break again this morning).

Also, there were issues with the /doability command recognizing some. e.g. I could do /doability 4, but not /doability "Flying Kick", even though they did the same thing. So it's very possible that all of the commands like "/if n $char(ability,"Fishing")>0" weren't working correctly yesterday.
Which meant that the macro thought your skills weren't available to use.

As of the newest patch. 3/10/04. i am unable to use this script anymore... I have updated all the files and recompiled, my other scripts are working but not this one... is there something i need to change in the script or is there an offsect or struct that still needs to be changed? I can fish manually BTW and i do have fishing set to an ability. Thanks for any help you can give.

Wait for the verification to be done. Surprised this macro came up first for 3/10 issues, considering every spellcast.inc using macro is borked till things are sorted

I'm a necro, i'm fishing for Nightmare Cichlid in PoN while FD. Kinda new to macroing and was wondering what commands would I do to make myself stand, summon pole then FD again when my pole breaks. (sounds kinda dangerous though considering I might get aggro when I stand) Thanx.
