Ok ok, I just found this today and I haven't even had a chance to install it yet, but I've been poking around and want to see if I'm on the right track. So, if I wanted to make a macro for making metal bits would it look like this?
Code: Select all
| - metalbits.mac -
|
|
Sub Main
/itemtarget Forge
/face item
/click left item
/click left enviro combine
:makebits
/sendkey down ctrl
/finditem "piece of ore"
/if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
/click left enviro 0
/finditem "piece of ore"
/if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
/click left enviro 1
/finditem "flask of water"
/if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
/click left enviro 2
/sendkey up ctrl
/click left enviro combine
:WaitCombine
/delay 5
/if "$cursor()"=="FALSE" /goto :WaitCombine
/click left auto
/goto :makebits
:Done
/sendkey up ctrl
/click left enviro done
/return
Don't Laugh too much, I'm not a stupid as I think I am.

Salutations,
after the click left enviro i'd put /cleanup
Make sure when you are doing this your inventory is not covered by the forge or vica-versa. This (in case you hadn't foudn out out) will not work in the new ui

well i am at work and can not test it but so far it appears to look good might need to add in the #turbo function, Maybe a gm check function and a little lag protection but as far as getting the job done it looks clean and simple gets a 8.5 for a first look from me.

If you want a macro to work off of, take a peek at mine for pottery... it's about the same as yours, but it includes #turbo. Quick, simple and effective, just change the item names and Pottery Wheel to Forge. Oh, and don't forget to change /click left destroy to /click left auto, unless you want to destroy the bits... =P
Code: Select all
| - Pottery.mac -
|
| Please be near a open pottery wheel before you start this macro.
|
#include routines.mac
#turbo
Sub Main
/itemtarget Pottery Wheel
/face item
/click left item
/click left enviro combine
:MakeKiola
/sendkey down ctrl
/finditem "Medium Bowl Sketch"
/if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
/click left enviro 0
/finditem "Water Flask"
/if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
/click left enviro 1
/finditem "Block of Clay"
/if $find()==FALSE /goto :Done
/click left enviro 2
/sendkey up ctrl
/click left enviro combine
:WaitCombine
/delay 5
/if "$cursor()"=="FALSE" /goto :WaitCombine
/click left destroy
/goto :MakeKiola
:Done
/sendkey up ctrl
/click left enviro done
/return

Well, after making a few minor changes such as calling for the correctly named ingredients, it works. Also, rewrote it to do Steel Bonings and Lanterns. Also discovered that it's not a good idea to use your sewing kit as a container to hold the ingredients while working at the forge. All in all a good experience so far. Took my Smithing skills up to 68 in a much faster time then if I were to do all the combining Manually.
Now to get it over 200.
Thanks for your help in the IRC channel last night, and thanks also for your responses here. Maybe sometime soon, I'll be able to add to the Macro's already listed here with a few of my own.
Cheers

Now I gotta figure out how to do a more complicated one that will check for skill level increases and change ingredients accordingly purchasing from a vendor and selling the results back. Would be great for JC seeing that gems cgange every few points. 2 days ago I couldn't imagine sitting my character down with 25Kpp and having them practice a skill till they went broke (or I got tired of watching).
Oh and I tell ya. They should make all items for TradeSkills stackable. I spent a majority of the time last night running back and forth buying small blocks of ore for bonings and lantern molds.
