I only have five things to say about this.

/itemtarget blabla
/click left item

picks it up even if you dont look at it, and doesnt use the mouse to do it either...

groundspawns for kaladiam, picks up both blue and red mushrooms

Code: Select all

|---------------
| ground.mac
| simple kaladiam collection
| movetotarget and some other random junk taken from FreQuency's ground.mac
| doesn't go for spawns that you can't reach

Sub Main
   /cleanup
      /if $cursor()!=NULL /autoinv
   /call DefineGlobals
   /call Blue
/return

Sub DefineGlobals
   /declare LastY global
   /declare LastX global
/return

Sub Blue
:Blue
   /if $target()!=FALSE /target clear
   /seterror clear
   /itemtarget *Blue
      /if "$getlasterror"=="ITEM_NOTFOUND" /call Red
   /call MoveToTarget
   /click left item
   /delay 10
   /autoinv
/goto :Blue

Sub Red
:Red
   /if $target()!=FALSE /target clear
   /itemtarget *Red
      /if n $distance(item)>115 /goto :Pause
   /call MoveToTarget
   /click left item
   /delay 10
   /autoinv
/goto :Red
/return
:Pause
   /delay 6m
      /if $target()!=FALSE /target clear
/call blue

Sub MoveToTarget
:KeepMoving
   /face loc $ground(y), $ground(x)
   /sendkey down up
      /if n $distance(item)>9 /goto :KeepMoving
:StopMoving
   /sendkey up up
/return

Just a thought to help eliminate the possible non-attainable spawns couldn’t you get the items z-axis and compare it to your own. One problem I ran into while messing with this is that it doesn’t seem to have any rhyme to reason on which *green Leaf it picks and they all have a target id of 0 so there’s no way to add bad spawns to a no go list. It would be cool to be able to use the standard /target command with ground spawn to have all the features it has as opposed to the limited /itmetarget command..

I think I read that they changed the grounds spawns so that they don't have an ID anymore. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I just store the unreachable ground spawns in an array and avoid them.

Of course now that /click left item is a direct call there should be fewer of them unreachable. Mostly the ones way above you in trees.

This macro should really be considered a cash-macro. The Yew Leaves in Wakening Lands sell for 200pp a pop easy on SolRo, Karana, KB, and Xev ... while doing tailoring, I manually foraged about 40 yew leaves over a course of 2 weeks with my forage bot, because I considered ground collecting the things en masse to be a dead obvious give away you're doing something you shouldn't, and WL would be a prime target for GM's to watch because of the cash value. Anyway, I did my tailoring, and had 7 Yew Leaves left over. I dropped them on my Bazaar bot, and when setting a price, noticed 4 traders with 100+ yew leaves for sale. /obvious, anyone? If any of you guys are using this in WL, I'd be careful. Just a thought. I'm still considering the idea /feedback'ing the WL ground spawns to get them removed, for obvious reasons. No legit person would ever get more than 2 an hour, and would have to have an eye like a hawk. Ground collecting WL is something I'm strongly against. Most people who take advantage of this part of MQ are doing it for cash, I'd be willing to bet. Comments anyone?

Or they could be using it to up their tailoring skill at low cost to them.

Please don't /feedback...the less attention we get, the better.

The good news is that the Everquest economy tends to fix itself when stuff like this happens. There are only so many recipes that need Yew Leaves, and only so many people who use them. Pretty soon that 200pp each will look more like 25pp each and it won't be worth it to hunt them anymore. There is one guy on my server that has been trying to sell them for 250pp each for about two weeks now and they aren't moving.

No worries, mate. People who try this sort of thing shoot themselves in the foot eventually.

ok, while looking on the eqtraders website, i need to get Payala fruit for one of my combines to trivialize brewing...It says its a ground spawn in Shadeweavers Thicket so my question is what would I need to change in order for it to find the payala fruit? I tried taking the current one above and changing /itemtarget *Payala but nothing happens in the macro...Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think its defined as Payala. I think its something like Bluemushroom1957, its rather generic. Try an /items in the zone and you should be able to find it.

I tried for some time to get it working, but I think something is either wrong with, or just doesn't work with the left click item command.

I don't run afk macros, but wanted to just help automate collections while watching tv. I resorted to facing the item, and clicking all over in the center of the screen till I had an item on the cursor. It was the only way I could figure out to pickup the item.

Since this is about a 90% cash macro I don't think were going to get much support, and that's fine. I already see someone on my server with a WAY more items than would ever be possible to collect by hand. I try to atleast keep them close to what would be possible.
