Request: $target(target) and/or $spawn(id,target)

I mean, the possibility to target the mob an other mob (or PC) is targeting, very similar to the eq /assist command. Problem with /assist is that it is in some way limited in range, you cant target the mob if the pc you are trying to assist is far away.
What I am trying to find is a way to have my bots attack the mob I am attacking without passing the mob ID in the group channel (I think it is becoming too dungerous). Using the /assist command, some times my bots can't target the mob because they are too far away. If some one can find a solution to this I will be an happy man. Thank you.

Keep your bots closer. It's not currently possible to determine a spawn's target without doing an /assist.

Do you mean that the /assist command is server side? I thought the this information was stored in the client, but it make sense that only the server know which is the target of a mob. Thank you for you answer.

/assist has a server side component in that it requests the mob that mob X has targeted, that is not stored client side.

Actually...you can determine a spawn's target once it has hit it at least once. In pACTORINFO there is a new variable at 0x25e4 called NameOfLastSuccessfulTargetHit. It is in the format used by the server as the name such as a_green_snake_01 or whatever, but, if you could take that and convert it to something that /target would accept, then you could use it to do something similar.
