MSVS 2003

Post by Bob The Cleric » Tue May 17, 2005 3:27 pm

Editted http://www.macroquest2.com/wiki/index.p ... le_free.3F this page (couldn't get the html tags to work properly in the post). Just made the edit to comply with the help instructions as best I understood how before asking, but:

I've been searching the MS and MSDN Libararies for the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 prerequisites with no luck. Roughly 2-3 months ago, I had a machine destroyed in the mail when I was returning to the United States and had to rebuild this one from scratch. I had the 3 MSVS .NET 2003 ISO files in my backups on the laptop, but no pre-requisites disk to get the installation started again. Was wondering if I might be able to get it from one of the users here if its condoned by the forum administration.

given what you posted, why don't you just buy it again rather then trying to make people believe some sob story and send you theirs for free? Given your response,,

1)you have no credit card
2)you are very poor (How do you afford EQ and internet then?)
3)you are very cheap but have some decency about you and deplore warez

To compile MQ, you do not need the prereq disk.
Reading . . . it's not just for me.

You can now order the VS 2005 Beta 2 from MS for free ... just have to wait 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.

Seriously, you don't need nor are you even entitled to a story / reason of any kind for my inquisition. If you're response is about as helpful or useless as your every day life is, you can keep it out of my post.

p.s.
if its condoned by the forum administration
You may also wish to consider the entire post before pulling a response from your ass and sticking it where it isn't wanted.

For any of the decent readers:

I'm not looking to compile MQ, just getting started on Deitel's C# initiative for which MSVS proves useful. I don't need to rebuy the software because I already own it and am missing some of the prerequisites. However, I can just wait and get it from the library at my college if its really this big of a burden; figured someone might have it for p2p xfer which in my not-so-cheap lifestyle is 100x faster than having it delivered.
