Curious, are you meaning like an actual HP total, as in.. 7212hp .. or a percentage?
Percentage = yes. HP total = no. HP totals were once, back in like, kunark\original days sent to the clients in "invisible packets". ShowEQ probably kept a lot of that and used it to display a lot of NPC's HP's, then probably kept track of mob's HP by you killing them and calculating total DMG, ect. (I've been thinking about logging something like this)
But unless I missed something, HP totals for NPC's or players aren't sent to the client anymore, regardless if you're using ShowEQ or MQ.
For HP percentage, you can use
ID being the spawn ID, you can get this for group by going $group(#), # being the group index #.. or by targetting a mob and going $target(id), there's a few others ways..
HP percentages are a little innaccurate at far away ranges obviously.. but up close they're as accurate as you see it on your client.
