merchant window wont open?

Can anyone tell me why, when i have a macro buy items from one merchant, turn and face the other merchant and its the exact same commands used to buy the items from the 1st merchant, except this time it won't open the buy window of the 2nd merchant? im using /press u, to open the trade window for the merchants, any ideas?

Pressing 'U' to use merchants doesn't seem to be reliable from my EQ experience. Haven't tried in MQ though.

The answer is that he left the shift key down.

shift+u != u
