Fresh Install

Post by DeeGee » Sun Dec 18, 2005 1:39 pm

Back to EQ1 for the first time in over a year. Figured I'd go with InnerSpace since I used that with EQ2. I've reinstalled Innerspace, downloaded the ISXEQ files, placed them in the extensions folder.

I run Everquest, ext isxeq, and CTD with a popup titled 'Macroquest' Incorrect Client Version, much like with MQ2 shortly after a patch.

Lax's link to ISXEQ in the wiki is empty http://www.ismods.com/wiki/index.php/ISXEQ , and I haven't seen any posts mentioning my crash. Chances are I'm just out of practice and am missing something, but what's the deal, I dont even have MQ2 installed on my comp and I'm getting MacroQuest popups heh.

not sure about downloading the latest MQ2 and compilling the isxeq file, but I have posted this over on the ismods.com forum under extentions:released as Red has been very kind to me and compiles it for me... he was to have upo a new version yesterday or two days ago, but I not seen it yet and am patiently waiting... though I did IM him jokingly asking about it.

well, I did leave out in the post here, but I sent the IM after the 4 hours Red had said it should take... I also mentioned in the IM that my brother was bringing disks with a program on them that should compile it for me also... and if you notice, I did say jokingly asking about it, hence Im not really planing on him dropping everything he does just to do it for me, Though I do thank you for pointing out the christmas season so there shouldn't be any need for me to say how I truely feel.

I have the next few days to do things, but then it gets busy again this coming weekend. I will get a compile of isxeq.dll up on the ismod forums asap when I get home from work today..... I should really reinstall vs2k3 here at work to expidite things, but haven't.
