Need to be newbie!

KK I have been all over the site since I DL'd MacroQuest yesterday. Here are some of my questions.

I am assuming that the version on EQW you run doesn't matter, Y or N

That the BUG that is keeping me from running MacroQuest is because the calls changed from the game are different from the calls in MQ and that some of you are experiencing success and the rest of us are not. Y or N

Something happened that the person responsible for the updates will not post another for a bit because?? Fill in the blank please

I am not a coder but I am not afraid of trying either, if any of you who have successfully got yer MQ to work would please try and help us poor schmucks out that can't I would really appreciate it.

I tried the date update but to no avail. I was reading on the site in a post about manually changing charinfo= is this applicable? I am just starting to learn code after many years of being a hardware tech, please have patients with this student!

Not really, but the latest is recommended.

There is a thread about it here in one of the forums.

Responsible for updates is not a good way to put it, but plazmic who is the coder of MQ is currently moving IRL.

Go to the post in the General section that talks about macroquest being broken again. Download the new offsets then copy them into where you are running MQ from file. New offsets helped me out.
