Working on a primal swap mac..

Post by Sempai » Thu Jun 26, 2003 9:01 pm

I was just wondering, is there any way to check if a buff is currently on you? i'm way newb to programing macs, but i'd like to have one that'll swap in a primal if avatar or ferine avatar isnt on me. then swap it back in 5 mins later, and swap it out after it procs. I tried searching using weapon swap, and came up with soem bard swaping things.. Just wondering about the buff checking now really.. And if anyone else is interested, and knows how to write a good macro. Feel free to write one up to use =D

Also i use a UI that has the 10 hotkeys and 8 invintory bag slots next to it, is there any way to use 1 of those slots to hold the primal and swap it in, to a hotkey(where the primal weapon slot is) that way invintory doesnt have to open and such?

Thanks
Cory

You could always do an event check for "Your body screams with the power of an Avatar." then time it

$char(buff,"Name of Buff") will return the slot number of the buff (if its up) or NULL if it isn't (i think?).

Best bet though would be to setup events
#Event AvatarFades "omg, avatar faded"
#Event AvatarProc "omg, avatar proced"
#Event ThatOtherAvatarFaded "omg, that other avatar faded"
#Event ThatOtherAvatarProc "omg, that other avatar proced"

replacing the "prhases" with the proper proc phrase / fade phrase.
