Usefull Speed info

Post by Zxeses » Sun Jun 15, 2003 12:41 am

Ok, using macroquest, I've completed some testing on player speed, here are the results!

All tests were done with a level 49 bard player with no AA's, except for the very specific AA related test (run3)
  • 0.45 Walking
    0.67 Running
    0.91 AA Run3
    0.93 Travelers Boots
    0.93 Journeymens Boots
    0.94 Journeymans+Run3
Bard song: Selo's Accelerando (level 5 song)
  • 1.13 No Drum
    1.57 Combine Drum
    1.75 Drum of the March
    1.77 March + AA/Run3
Bard song: Selo's Chorus (level 49 song)
  • 1.13 No Drum
    1.57 Combine Drum
    1.75 Drum of the March
    1.77 March + AA/Run3

Observations: Notice how even though Run3 isnt supposed to affect your run speed when using a buff, but yet it still does (just a tad)

Its interesting to discover that the two bard run songs are the same speed for a level 49 bard, making the only real difference the length of time the song lasts (2.5 minutes for the 49 level song)

I have noticed this several times in actual usage. Run Speed 3 DOES stack with buffs...though just not as effective as you'd think it should be.

Someone with Run Speed 3+soe will outrun someone without RS3 with soe...no doubt.

I believe agi also has some minor factor in determining run speed too

agi does affect run speed on a small scale
