looking for a looped /pet attack macro

Post by nukem419 » Tue Jan 28, 2003 11:05 pm

hello, i'm looking for a macro that will have my pet attack a certain mob when it spawns, camp me out when a GM is in zone or someone gives me a tell, have me stop what i am doing when some one is within hearing range and have me restart when they are gone. I just downloaded this program and i think it's going to take me a little wile to learn the code well enough to make this on my own. i'm going to start with a foraging macro and a afk ability trainer. thx for your info, and pls don't flame me about afk exp, in the end it's just a game and i think finding way's around the rules is the most fun part about playing a game.
just pretend i said something cool and unique, I have no imagination

Just a suggestion, but look through the macro depot, most of what you want has been writen already. And it's not likely that you will find any macro writers to write you code for unattended macroing, so if you want that you are going to have to write it yourself. It may be just a game, but there are a lot of us who use this program do it because we won't play the game without it, and unattended macroing is the biggest threat to the program, since it is the biggest thing SOE cares about.

Don't jepordize everyone elses benefits from this utility by beeing greedy and lazy.

Valid Uses: ( personal opinion of course )

Trade Skilling, ( most of us remember the days of HOURS upon
HOURS of clicky clicky clicky 15 min break to do finger
stretches, then back to clicky clicky clicky then scrub
the callases off your fingers )

Thats about it. Maby a few others.

Invalid Uses ( Again personal opinion )
Tracking mobs
unattended exp gain
Unattended anything.

Some would argue about buffage and what not in raids.. and keeping track of it... Well there are some valid points there but that is what seperates the GOOD buffers from the lamers.

Everyone has seen at least 1 uber high lvl chanter / druid / <insert class here> char who you swear bought his char on Ebay and has no friggin idea what he is doing in your raid. Well no reason in my mind why one of those morons should be able to grab this program and automate there l337 ski112 and have the raid say wow what a great <insert class here> you are.

Anyways... yeah..
