Quick Heads-up (DebugSpew and MacroQuest.ini)

Post by Amadeus » Thu May 22, 2003 5:32 am

It's probably not a big deal for many people, but I noticed that everything I was doing was being logged to DebugSpew and after a little discovery found out that the new MacroQuest.ini in CVS has it turned on by default.

Code: Select all

[MacroQuest]
EQPath=C:\Games\EverQuest
MacroPath=.\Macros
LogPath=.\Logs
DebugSpewToFile=1
...
...

So, unless you're working on debugging and so forth, you might want to set that value to zero to avoid building a massive log file and burning up your precious disk resources ;)

Someone might want to set that back to default at zero in the CVS just to avoid questions/concerns in the future.

My fault, the CVS macroquest.ini is mine, I put it in there to show the positioning of EQPath, and had debug turned on while debugging the parser. Thanks for catching that.
