MQ2map help

Greetings. I have a problem running 3 chars with mq2map- I see the names and colors of spawns appropriately on two chars, however, on a 3rd, it only shows the dots unless i hover over directly and then it shows the name. Any attempts to unload reload plugin, zone, restart client fail to change this. Then I couldn't change it VIA completely blasting MQ and recompiling it. This changed nothing and the same problem persists. Can anyone clue me in on what I'm missing?

The only difference i can think of is this char has a merc and newest expansion, the others do not. Does that somehow interfere? Thanks.

Click the Labels button on the map window?

I spent a long time trying to figure that out (2hrs+). To think all the hard stuff was trivial for me just to be baffled by something simple.
