/doevents, /delay, and logging tells...

Post by Talamasca » Fri Jul 12, 2002 3:44 pm

When should these be used. would having a /doevents following every event call cause the macro to run smoother?

Also the /delay 0, when should that be used?

Logging messages given while running your macro. Whats the command for this so that you can just check the log for any tells your received?

Thanks

Salutations,
If you are going to have events in your macro, use /doevents in every loop. If you have no events, use /delay 0. What i do and it seems to work fine. At the top of your macro put #chat tell, then later in your macro place

Code: Select all

sub event_chat
/if $p0==tell /mqlog ------$p1 told you $p2
/return

Thanks. Hey did you get a chance to look at that last message I posted about the bear.mac in the macro depot lizard?
