begging

i'm working on BiC 3 and need to get my begging up but don't feel like sitting there at the keyboard pressing the button over and over. if someone could help me w/ a macro for this it would be appreciated. keep in mind i'm not sure if they've nerfed it since the way it used to be but i wasn't able to get skill ups on pet, gh, or on a mob that i was amiable with after about 20 begs, i have been getting them on mobs that are attacking me though, so if i need to have a lower lvl mob on me i would need my toon to cast a heal or reptile skin on himself from time to time, he's a druid by the way

oh and just to clarify, sorry if there is something out there and i couldn't find it but i'm new to this site and i don't really know much about macroquest so if there is something already a little guidance would be much appreciated

Another good question is... who do you beg to get skill ups? I searched and found people had used Abysmal Sea, LDON camps, various merchants around Freeport, but those posts are dated 2004. I'm at skill 190 and want to max mine out (270) just for the hell of it. Are those locations still valid for begging past 190?

Beg while you fight. those mobs that give xp will raise your beg skill. just add a short code to attack off, beg, small delay then turn attack back on. I maxed all my bots without even noticing...

Maguses and Scions are good beg targets, or at least they were.

I've gotten skillup off abysmal sea npc. Since the zone is no com,bat area, npc won't attack so you could stand by one npc, start the script, and watch your begging skillup scroll up.

I would advise against afk begging because the one script I have doesn't check for GM in zone and if GM happens to sniff you out, you could be in serious hot water.

Put a GM checker in it. Takes about 30 seconds.
