Hrmph!

Post by theandah » Thu Dec 25, 2003 3:13 am

I installed using the Remote Desktop tool that was given is one of these forums. I followed directions exactly, installed it perfectly. I'm able to run it, but MacroQuest doesn't work in EQ. I can see the icon in my taskbar, but when I test out some commands in the chatbox (/filter macros on, /help macros) it gives me the typical errors when you type in a defunct command.

Any synopsis as to what could be doing this?

Follow the directions again, and again, and again, until you get it right. It works.

Newbie COmpile Help

Post by surrenderdorothy » Sat Nov 18, 2006 12:05 am

Several questions
1. Why dont you just offer a compiled program?

2. I am having the following error:
The following error has occurred during XML parsing:

File: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\VCProjectDefaults\CoreWin_Express.vsprops
Line: 9
Column: 1
Error Message:
Illegal qualified name character.

The file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\VCProjectDefaults\has failed to load.

Failed to load system project defaults file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\VCProjectDefaults\CoreWin_Express.vsprops'.
The project cannot load without this file installed.
Please re-install the product.

I have searched the wikii, and the entire website for "Illegal qualified name character" and it doesnt come up.

Here is my CoreWin_Express.vsprops'"
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<VisualStudioPropertySheet
ProjectType="Visual C++"
Version="8.00"
Name="Core Windows Libraries">
<Tool
Name="VCLinkerTool"
AdditionalDependencies="kernel32.lib user32.lib gdi32.lib winspool.lib comdlg32.lib advapi32.lib shell32.lib ole32.lib oleaut32.lib uuid.lib"
" />
</VisualStudioPropertySheet>

Thanks for your help.
You guys could dumb this down a lot and use 1/4 the help space you use now.
Thanks

It's an intelligence test. Much like posting in the correct thread.
