Ok so i'm thinking of trying this out and am a little bit worried about some things.
Ok so if i make a seperate account to run this, which i wouldn't really mind getting banned since it's not a big thing for me. But the problems lies in the fact that IF i run my normal everyday account Macroquest can still be detected on my computer correct?
Soo what i need is a wa around this.
If i run macroquest and the new account on a seperate partition, and then run my normal EQ on my original partition will there be a chance of detection when i play my normal EQ account?
Might be a bit confusing i know but i'm sure it's been asked before.

No, they can't tell if it's "installed" on your computer. They could theoretically process scan, (very illegally, they have ways around it) but that'll only work if you actually have MQ running.
If you fear bannage, you need to have accounts pointing to two different credit card accounts or use prepaid cards for one. Two separate installs in two separate locations. (well, if you want to two box. I've never tried logging in as someoen else at my prompt). If you REALLY fear bannage, get another dial up and use it for the extra (if you have broadband now), sometimes they ban by IP, or request a dynamic IP if that's an option from your provider. Then just make sure you're on a new IP before you run the extra account.
All of this is very much a pain in the izzle.
