Click

Post by hardarac » Tue Feb 11, 2003 4:57 pm

I am sure that this has been asked a number of times .... but I cant find an answer

Has the /click function used in many macros been fixed to work under the new UI?

:D

Rumor Control claims that there are several people who have solved the problem, but that aren't sharing their results...

However, what seems to be the case is that a few people have achieved partial functionality, but don't have it 100 percent working and so have not released anything. For example, AMadMonk has a somewhat working version which will click, but not in every case, because just about every button in the NewUI has a number of special cases it checks for. Unlike the OldUI, that checking is not independant of /click, but somehow meshed in with it, apparently making it necessary to code every button click seperately.

Of course, I'm basically an idiot so I might be misunderstanding things. The simple answer is that there is no true solution, and you still can't /click.

Salutations,
Actually, I believe that AMadMonk's method removes the use for the click and just does the actual command in EQ that says 'move item to cursor now bitch!'

Ah... well, I don't care about the rest of the clicking, I just want you to fix MacroKit so it loots again :)
