buff/debuff inspection

Post by masoud » Fri May 05, 2006 11:14 am

Hi guys,

I've looked around the forums and release notes and can't find anything about the ability to inspect buffs and debuffs.

With the MQ I've compiled I can't right click on a buff or poison/DoT/whatever and see the spell information.

I can't remember if this is a UI feature, or if this is a MQ feature. All I remember is I used to be able to inspect a poison spell for example, and see what exactly the spell was and all of its features.

Could anyone help me remember or let me know if this is a feature that is currently broken or something?

Thanks.

Most likely, you don't have Contextual menus enabled. Go to your Options window in EverQuest and enable them. On the General tab, make sure "Allow Context Menus" is enabled.

Don't right click and hold on the buff icon. Simply right click and release immediately. Sony made a change to the buffs so you can block certain buffs. When you right click and release, you should then be presented with a contextual menu with 2 options. One of the options is to inspect the spell.

Thanks Rezo, I haven't played in a while and I was unaware of that change :)
