programing lessons needed )

Post by ZumZum » Tue Jan 14, 2003 1:47 am

i was wandering if someone could write a crash course in programing in MQ ).Sort of explaining a bit more why you write it like that and what to you want to acomplish with that, where is the beginning and where is the end ...and such )
i am interested in programing but it seemed too complicated ,i bought books and programs and nada,i can not learn much(i usualy learn by example, and starting a game from scratch but it was waay out of my league ( it seems to complicated, and not having someone to answear some questions is difficult to know what i was doing wrong.Seems like learning to write macros will be a bit simple than anything else i thought about and still interesting to me because is related to EQ ).
I realize that it may be to much of and effort to take the time write about that seems to be to trivial to some of the people that know more about MQ but it would not hurt to ask...i hope ).
Other sugestions are welcome too ....rrr....i mean good and usefull sugestions. :)
%T IS MEZZED !!YOU BREAK IT YOU SOLO IT )...after it kills me probably )

The best thing you can do, to learn by example is read the README.HTML file, then read the Macros Depot forum, and read the macros others have done, and try and extrapolate what each thing in those macros are trying to achieve, then try and think of a small thing you want to achieve, see if there's anyone who's already done it, and see compare code.

Other than that, I doubt someone really wants to sit down and write the infamous MacroQuest for Dummies.
