can someone please post this in the completed form so i can compare it to mine also if i wanted to try the turbo feature would you add it in right after the /mqlog like this.
Sub Main
/afk I am baking, I do not wish to be disturbed
/filter skills none
/stand
/mqlog
/varcalc v50 $char(plat)*10+$char(gold)
/varset t0 3000
/varset t1 $p0

/stand
/mqlog
/turbo
/varcalc v50 $char(plat)*10+$char(gold)

or will this code need reworked to work with the new version
mine weither i try turbo or not will make half of what i buy and sell the rest. if i use it with pre 07042002 release it seems to still work so i am lost.

Cheese... ?

Post by ReK » Sun Jul 07, 2002 7:02 pm

I'd like to behold the power of cheese.. but can someone please tell me what I need to do this? (not the programs, scripts) but what race, class, zone, money, items I need before I begin to ensure this runs and makes some plat?

Making use

Post by ReK » Mon Jul 08, 2002 9:16 pm

I am making use of it, however none of them seem to actually answer the questions.

How much plat is needed to start?
What skill in baking to start?
Where does the char need to be sitting?

Hello, I am a new user and encountered a problem with the cheese macro.

I buy items, make the cheese, and sell it to Granger...however after the first cycle, it locks up my shift key, and entire stacks of material are being placed in the mixing bowl.

I use a logitech cordless keyboard, in case that is a possible source of the problem.

Any ideas?

L124rd I love your answers. Basically what it boils down to is the informations is out there. If you are willing to read and actually have to look stuff up like the rest of us do then you will find these things out for yourselves instead of expecting others to do it for you.

#turbo

Just to answer Madman, I do not believe there is a "/turbo".

You would add

#turbo

to the beginning where the routines.mac is called for.

Re: Cheese.mac

Post by FunIsEq » Tue Jul 23, 2002 1:22 am

I was just curious if anyone would be able to tell me what is causing the following:

I am running cheese.mac using /call makecheese (because it is faster) but I am having a problem with the autodropping of the cheese...once made it just sticks on to my cursor without being dropped into a bag...I have no problems running makecheese2 but trying to get makecheese to work. I have my inventory set up with 7 backpacks with the bowl in the upper right hand corner (seems to combine only if it is in this spot)...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I figured out the autodrop of the cheese...but now I am wondering what the #turbo option does. It seems to stall my system everytime I run it...and additionally can anyone see any bottlenecks in the most current cheese.mac? If anyone could point out what could be edited or even taken out entirely to make cheese combines go extraordinarily fast...real fast...without regard for lag control etc...trying to design a cheese.mac that runs lightning fast for those of us that have a secure connection and quick computer.

I found out my own answers about the turbo option...but I am still looking for performance enhancement suggestions and tips if anyone has a real fast running cheese.mac (I've seen on my server people logging 450pp per hour). I am not looking for anyone to rewrite the macro for me, just point me to certain spots to be edited on my own, unless you want to rewrite it that is.
