copy the folders from a previous version of MQ then compile... easy fix I delete the entire directory structure of previous versions prior to unzipping the new zip file. I also overwrite the old zip with the new zip. I mean, if the previous version is going to be rendered inop whenever a patch goes...

Re: Updated Structs & Offsets

I have updated the new structs and offsets manually. MQ2 works fine except I am unable to load any .mac files For example when I type /macro stick it just says stick.mac in red letters and doesn't load can anyone provide any useful information on what the problem could be? For future reference, and...

Actually, while you guys are replying: I've come across a rather disturbing message in one of the Macro Depot threads stating that you can run only 1 macro at a time - i have yet to find a post stating otherwise nor backing that claim up. Is it true? Thanks again guys! = ) Yes, you can only one run...

I do apologize if the question had been asked before. I admit that doing a search had not occured to me. I can remember MQ1 where client version checking could be disabled in the ini file. I figured it was the same case with MQ2 but maybe located in the source and i'd have to change some setting in ...

General Question

I've been overseas these past 5 months working. I havn't been able to access EQ or keep up on MQ2 due to firewall restrictions. With that said, let me ask this question. When i got home the other night, I downloaded the latest MQ2 source, compiled it, and successfully ran it on my computer with ever...

Re: RTFM?

Thanks alot  I have to warn you though, it's not a very intuitive read. You really have to know a little something about programming, be a bit intuitive in finding what you want, and know how to use the search function here on the boards to find sample code from which to learn from. i conside...

Here is the link to the thread that enlightened me. http://macroquest2.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4132 The first time i read it, i was looking for instructions on how to compile MQ2 so I just skimmed over the info. Strangely enough, the title of the thread reads "Compiling MQ2 for your friends ...

good news...I fixed it!!! After perusing the boards some more, i came across some info concerning mq2auth.exe and why it's used.... I was running mq2auth has instructed, but nothing was said that i also had to run it on the machine i wish to use MQ2 on. So after i did that and put the updated files ...
